ENABLERS
SureCare Enabling is currently expanding. We are a dynamic organisation providing flexible person-centred services that enable people of different abilities to live lives of their own choosing as included members of the community.
We are looking for Enablers who can bring a diverse range of skills, knowledge and experience to work as part of a team with people of different ages and abilities.
All Enablers will have a friendly manner, sensitive approach and the ability to empathise; Good listening, communication and time management skills; Ability to engage effectively with service users who have different communication abilities; Good written, verbal and IT skills; A commitment to and understanding of Equality of Opportunity and Managing Diversity.
You will work directly with the service users in a person-centred way as set out in their Individualised Support Plan. You will provide direct and practical support to enable service users to maintain their home, perform domestic tasks, operate safely in the kitchen, do their shopping, meet their personal care needs, develop and maintain relationships and engage in community etc, whenever necessary to maintain acceptable standards of health and safety in their living environment.
Comprehensive training will be provided. Own transport is essential.
